i have a pic to post for the WIND theme, but its pretty crap......so if it was you, would post a crap picture and maybe learn something from what people have to say about it, or just not bother. is it worth posting a picture that you know wont do very well?

If you know what is not so good about it why not retake it and try to improve it before submitting it? |

I agree with scottwilson; if you are not satisfied with it (you seem to know it has warts, which implies you at least have an inkling what they are) then either try to reshoot it or don't submit it. If you submit something you're not happy with, you'll kick yourself. IMO there are two reasons to submit something:
1.) You think it will do well
2.) You really love the image regardless of what you think the voters will do with it.
It seems your photo does not meet either of these criteria. Just my 2¢.

another option would be to take another shot, wait till the challenge in over & post the crap shot on a thread & ask for critique.
I would not post a crap shot just to get feedback. There are other ways to get that.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
