What would it take for this site to create a "spell checker". Some of the grammar and spelling is atrocious.

I almost don't read those with multiple spelling mistakes. I also tend not to believe what they are writing about. Some how they lose a certain creditability. I am sure that some will be "peeved" about this. We are in the "IM" generation, somehow that would be better. I am pretty sure that's how the text messaging was created. People who can't write or spell well.

Oh yeah I am not perfect, and have sent many a typo's around. What do you think, am I being too harsh...?

Remember that we are an international site, and English is not a first language for a large number of our members. Not to say that all the bad spelling and grammar is attributable to that, but it's certainly a factor. Some of us (myself included) also type faster than they think, LOL. I don't always scrutinize my posts due to time constraints, and so a lot of typos get through. Then there's "IM-speak", which I certainly wish folks wouldn't use in the forums.

Thanks that funny right daareee... The "spellcheck police" has just spotted a violator. That's 2 demerits. Give back those "Ribbons" Mr. Chuck and Clock...

I'm not a native english speaker (nor writer or thinker for the matter ;), but... isn't it the other way around? That's how it goes in spanish with me!! LOL
