How about the OPTION for people to upload higher resolution versions of their photos after voting, and when someone clicks their 640x480 photo, it opens the bigger size in a new window. This way people could get a close look at their faves and use them as desktop wallpapers :)

konador, i believe this was discussed before. i'm too lazy to search for a thread though. if i remember correctly though, the strain on the server to store those photos was likely to be pretty big, and since people already post their photos to other places such as photosig and pbase, the consensus was to just link to photos there.
you could also always contact the photographer to see if he/she sends you a bigger copy ...

Okay, i see how this could be a stress on the server. How about instead of uploading the pic here, when you click the 640x480 image, it takes you an external link (which the photographer could enter when/ if s/he pleases).?

What I would like to do, it talk about some of the photos, and discuss whether or not they really used negative space. There are a few that I have questions on, and I would like others opinions.

hey! y not just ask for the pic when u see one u like that much? u want to give the net all ur pics in real sizes? and praetor, r u a roman soldier freak? do you like that kinda stuff? like gladiators, etc? my nephew loves the praetorian guard and their outfits. |
