Agreed about nice shots in beauty challenge. Scored 3-10s, 6-9s, 11-8s, 93-7s, 86-6s and a few lower.
It did not start out all that high but my image has actually struggled upwards almost .2 in the last 24 hours. Hope the trend continues to the end. :)

my score rose 0.23 today which is interesting
113 votes -> 6.22
146 votes -> 6.45
avg of the last 33 votes? ~ 7.23

and just after I posted this, my average dropped 0.03 with one vote of 2 :(( |

Personally I totally ignore the frames and borders on pictures. Unfortunately, it would appear that about half the ribbon winners have a border of some type. To be honest I wish dpchallenge would NOT allow them in the challenges at all. Let's make the images stand up on their own and not with the support or enhancement of a border.

Border smorder... At least I will never use a border again, the only shot I put a border on was my worst score ever here on DPC by almost 1 whole point! No borders for me again, ever!!! :) |

So here we are 2 faves, 1 wish list and still below a 6. Whassssup wit dat? It has creeped up from a 5.6 in the early going, so I'm hopeful.
One of my favorite entries EVER. Could use a dash more sharpness (my usual paranoid thought) but I'm really happy some people are taking kindly to it.
I think I'll stay here on this thread, in my happy zone.

Very happy with my score, but the comments are _____ missing.
I guess I got spoiled with the Granular challenge. Maybe it's just my shot and it not giving cause to comment??

| Not a lot of comments.. 12... but the score's decent. Not spectacular, but decent. Better than I expected to get; there are some really fantastic shots in this challenge that make mine look super yucky in comparison :) |

| Not doing as well as I hoped, only 5.07 but I liked the shot. Someone even gave me a favorites. So that makes it worth it. Really surprising thing is 170 votes and 0 comments. |
