Hey, thanks! I did about 25 or so each day, mostly before work, some after. I didn't have anything of value to say for a lot of shots, which I usually spent more time on than the shots that inspired me. I don't recall coming across a single shot that was bad, it was mostly governed by degrees of interest to me personally, and meeting the challenge according to my own silly vision. Hey, if I went out in the rain to get a shot, I don't expect anybody else to stay dry. And folks in sunny California definitely don't get my pity. ;-)

Heh. I got one of your DNMC notes, but I don't mind. I just figure that those who don't see rain, aren't keeping in mind the other definition of rain out there (as in the verb, see: to pour down).

The challenge doesn't say it is solely about the weather phenomenon, though it is implied.

Regardless I went a different way and if folks can't see my rain, no skin off my nose - I enjoy it and that's really the point for me.

I do appreciate the uptick in comments this go 'round.

I'll be starting to vote & comment now that I'm back in town, can't wait to see what everyone did.

Mine is going up and down lately. I get great reviews and then a really big slam, so I guess that's the way it goes. I did get 18 comments though WOO HOO - the most of any challenge and if the votes didn't change, it'd be my highest rated at 6.2784. YIPPEEEEE Maybe I'm jinxing myself by saying anything.

Best of luck to everybody. Less than 24 hours to go - then the NUDES will be upon us.

this challenge has been interesting, I keep getting some "really great" comments and at the same time some "really bad" ones. Almost no in between

Well then (if you're a fan of majority rule) then, they're probably either very good or not so good. Given your 6.5+ score, I'd have to say that they must be fairly complimentary. ;-) Good job & hope you've enjoyed the additional commentary. Hopefully, others will feel so inclined during future challenges! It really does help the commenter more than is generally thought.
