I was just wondering how much luck anybody has had selling prints off the DPCPrints website.... ??? Any?

Also was curious if webmasters would ever consider making DPCPrints statistics (of prints other than their own) available to the sellers...

I have had good luck also considering that DPCPrints is brand new. The question you should ask yourself is 'why shouldn't i give it a try?'

You are already a member, therefore, you have no overhead in selling prints. You have nothing to lose by giving it a try.

Just be realistic with your prices. I see a lot of 4x5 stock shots going for around $15.

Nice job guys. Keep up the good work!

Sure John I know there is nothing to lose and I fully intend on posting some prints as soon as I have time to get some processed.

Regardless, I am still curious as to how others have fared, what kind of traffic the DPC Prints page generates, sales per view ratios, etc.

I don't know what the statistics look like. I believe that time will bring more visitors in and your own efforts of linking and advertising your prints to others will do the same...

I'm rich, I'm rich! I've sold 3.

I'm realy happy with DPCPrints ... i've ordered a few times and i've sold 3 prints so far ... it's a nice next step to see if people "bite" on any of my prints and see what people are interested in for their own viewing enjoyment :)

I wouldn't mind seeing feedback from someone that bought someone elses work.

Did it end up as good as you expected it to? All of the feedback I've seen has been from people that bought their own work. (Or at least thats what I'm assuming, I may be way off.)

I think that most people would either like the way it turned out just because it was their own work (or be overly critical, which I haven't seen to much of yet).

I can't stress enough how important it is for you guys to help us promote the site. We're trying out some different advertising methods, but the best support we can get is from you, the artists. Keep those great prints coming in :)

I have bought about 5 pictures from others and they turned out excellent. I am very pleased with them. I have also bought my own prints and I will continue to use dpcprints for printing.

Hi,

I have bought one print from the site, John Setzler's Magnetic Patriotism. The quality was far superior to anything I expected. The prints are produced on archival-quality paper and the detail is incredible.

sorry - a little off-topic for this thread...just didn't wanna start another one for such a simple question.

I couldn't find anything on DCPrints regarding shipping costs of the prints...what's the deal? The prices are reasonable enough that I'd do much of my own finishing here if shipping doesn't blow the prices out of the water. I print most of my own, but for the bigger and/or more important ones, I'd love to support the site.

anyone? anyone?

Thanks Matt...must be too early in the morning for me to have found it myself.
Peace.
