Well, I finally got myself on MySpace... it seems like EVERY rock band on the planet and rock photographer has an account now, so I thought I'd better get on that bandwagon.
I think it would have been great when I was 14, but not so useful at 34!
Do any of you guys have an account? What do you make of it all?

bobstelobster, watch out, this thread will be pumping in a minute, there were a couple of threads in the past about both sids of myspace.

i dont really see what the big deal is. the site is waaay too slow and not very easy to navigate, i pop in there every once in awhile just to check messages. other than that i dont waste my time.

I have an account but I have never even bothered to fill out my profile. The site is of little interest to me.
I do have a profile on Model Mayhem, which is a site that is basicly a clone of myspace except geared specificly towards models, stylists, make up artists and photographers

| the only thing i hate about myspace-visitors can view your page and blog but cannot view your pics-ya have to be a member.my space makes me feel like a kid again so holla if anyone wants to be my friend- |

| hey! my rock band is on myspace: Farmertan! you can hear our songs. Also you can go to garageband.com and here farmertan, But my space is a great way to promote local shows. |

When I read that, it looks like Farterman, I was like why in the heck would anyone name their band that? I think I'm dislexic. |

I have myspace and I have a link on there to my dpc prints.
I usually get at least a hit a week on the prints from someone on myspace.
I've never sold any prints because of it, but you never know?

I'm there, I deleted all photos I had posted though because some sicko commented on how beautiful my daughter was and how they wanted to get to know me- and then some other not so nice things. Even though I CLEARLY state in my profile I am happily married. So no more pics for me there- except one of some bark lol. yippeee!
I do have a wolf group on there.

I really only joined to see if I could find some old classmates- which I did and that has been really neat. I started the group because I have a high content wolfdog and had joined another wolf group. There was some pretty trashy pictures on there so I resigned and started my own thing. It's new so not very exciting lol.
WOuld love to keep pics on there, but since most of what I do is of my daughter I refuse now.

I met a few people off of myspace... I know the interface/navigation is definitely not the best... but I figure, it's a free site! Old friends from school have found me on there and it's been fun... and addicting!!!
