My score's tanking and I have no idea why. I usually have some clue where I stand...or why but this Challenge and the entires have me at a bit of a loss.
I'm hoping it's just the bogus first day voters and they will move along soon, leave me alone and go torture the people who entered Fashion.

I woke up this morning and I was at about 6.7...now I've slid down to 6.03. Still doing a lot better than I thought I would.

Heh, mine went from 6.23 at 06:45AM today to 6.44 at 09:00AM and is now at... 6.04 :-P
I'm sure there will be a "recovery" of sorts, I'm used to seeing this kind of temporary swing, especially in the early going.

Since I was sure that I would be at a 6.1 (6.5 if I was lucky) this is tanking as far as I'm concerned. Outside of the "interest factor" which is all up to personal choice, I think I took a darn good 6ish image which fits it's duotone treatment well.

this is my first time entering a challenge.. it's my first introduction to the update button too... I have no idea what to expect and see where many say that the scores change a lot after the initial phase.. I do know this, it will make me much more inclined to leave comments as well as vote.. here are my scores to date... I had around 5.6 when I first looked... falling now.. the comments are interesting however..

I've fallen from a 6.24 this morning to a 5.77 currently (in only 20 or so votes). Must be disgruntled participants taking it out on everyone.

Details: Your submission should only consist of two tones (black/white, sepia, etc).
in all honesty I dont think people who submitted color pics with only 2 colors did not follow the challenge. I will only hold that aginst them though if there are other colors in the image than the main 2. Duotones are made of 2 colors and in printing it is done with 2 diffrent colors of dots, fortunatly in computers pixels are small so shade varations can be made like greyscale and sepia.... |

So anybody who's belly-aching about getting a 5... I've got a lot of ground to catch up on. I got a feeling, although I haven't been able to figure out how to do it yet (unless I become a full member), that I'm looking at some 1's and 2's on my photo. I even got one comment from someone wondering why I picked the subject I did. No matter... it just means I have to try harder in the next challenge. Right? |

Hellooohooo mine droped from 7.0000 to 5,106! Almost the lowest I ever had... Only 1 comment...nice.. And I thought I had a nice pic. Why does nobody tell me what's wrong, I don't get it. Well I'll stop my comments too. Why bother if others don't.
