I did not know, so I flagged it.
This is what I got back. I dont care, I just did not know there were differnt rules.
Hi Cam,
We have previously reviewed this image, and another in the user's portfolio for compliance to the site Terms of Use, and found them to comply. Bear in mind, for portfolio images, all we require is that image not contain "explicitly sexual content" per section 4.2 (iv) of the Terms of Use. For challenges, stricter rules apply.
Both of these images have been flagged as containing nudity so that those with the "Hide Nude Photos" box checked in their preferences will not see them.

Hey at least theres a warning--
I really like the first one-- 2nd one is just okay for me, some harshe shadows would have cropped tighter in upper right (the penis doesnt bother me-not a factor)-- I dont like the 3rd, looks over-processed, the shadows on the legs dont looks right--.. clones or dodged near them or supthing. |

In my opinion, you're trying just a little too hard. There are obvious compositional errors, especially in 1 and 3, but overall, it just seems to me like there's a real lack of *artistry* here (number 1 is better at that than the last two), and more of a dependancy on shock value.
Almost as if you were going for Robert Mapplethorpe, but ended up doing first year art student. I feel a distinct lack of connection to the model, and there are too many lighting/technical issues keeping them from that push ahead.
I'd try and focus more on getting your composition tighter, your lighting less harsh, and less of a central focus on genitalia. It being there doesn't bother me, but it being too central to the photos kind of does.
If that makes any sense. |

| Thank you all so much. I like the comments that are real, simple and harsh when necesssary. That is exactly what I was looking for. I am so glad I did not get the typical " great photo". Thanks to all of you who were honest. |

| I like the first one. Can't decide on the second one. Don't like the third on. To me, it's right on the boarder between what I consider artistic and lewd. |
