hi...i just got my new camera a sony cybershot...though its not a very hi-fi camera and doesnt have the fancy features...i am really very excited to take some good quality photographs...however the type of pictures i have been taking are not good....could you give some tips as to how to imrove my techniques...is it something that can be learnt or something which should come naturally...
could you give some links to some resources or books which might help me learn the tricks fast..and help me improve |

You're in a good place. You can learn a tremendous amount here. Remember that a major key to great photography is to understand light and it's interaction with your subject. Another key is to understand composition and exposure. These things come very naturally to some, and not naturally at all to others, but they can indeed be learned.
Browse past challenges, look at photos that make you say "wow!", and look at the details, if provided. Look at how the shots were composed, and how they were lit. Try to duplicate shots that interest you. |

Look at the images people come up with in this site with the camera you have and you will be motivated !

Camera is a tool, know its limitations and shoot within that and you will do great! Its all in the eye!
There is hardly a place on internet where you can learn more than here, just be open to constructive criticism!
