Actually, I think that's the stag film version. The anguished poet's version is nitrogen roses, scaling a fish and furry balloons.

Svetlana, I agree. This is a great shot. I'm not a fan of borders, but HONESTLY, I see nothing wrong with this border. I think this is a very compelling shot.

I've started copying over some of the tips and tricks I remember.
Christian and umm ... : I've copied a couple of your posts, so take a look. I'll edit if you want me to, or just delete and you can repost.
Maybe if we get the other board running well enough, we'll get accused of conspiring to raise our scores. THEN we'd know we'd really arrived. ;)

Looks like the voting so far on my photos has been harsh and unexpected.
Minimalism, with its 1 negative comment - 5.2
Fill the fram, with 3 positive comments - 5.0
Which means fill the frame wouldn't even make my top bar. lawks! |

Hey there all,
Just posted Nude, Wildlife still in 5.2 area, Entrance at 4.5. Some folks has themselves a brownie recipe, hope I didn't make any dumb typos in the measurements!
Wow, Svetlana, someday I bet you'll be a world-famous photographer and we can all brag about knowing you when you were just starting out! I think many of your pix remind me of Veruschka, who after her modelling/acting career (she was in movie Blow-Up) did all kinds of amazing shots. A book of hers, Trans-Figurations, came out in the 80s I think. She does all kinds of stuff like body-painting herself into walls etc. I can see you doing that soon, and to the best of my knowledge another photog snapped her - you do it all yourself!
As for everyone who's had CheerioMan pee in their cereal, bet I know who he is...
Now I'll go and do some voting and if do make a comment I hope it's a nice one!
Oh - final note - as I'm a Canucklehead and technopeasant too, I know how to download pix but not paste them to this thread. There's an outtake from Wildlife on there I think people might like.

Hey, that new site won't let me register! It says: "Your activation code contains an error. Please try again : Fv9Kq." And I tried multiple times.
Never mind. I started over and got a new activation code and finally got registered.

i think i aim a little to high sometimes. but then if you dont aim high you dont improve!!!
In any case the nude entry i am submitted i dont feel will do well, but i will say a big thanks to Mrs Brookied for being very supportive and being my mode. |

some great shots in wildlife,
I am a great believer in learning a lesson. todays lesson is "know your limitations"
I will not partake in nude photography again. I am sure to get a brown ribbon for my pitiful effort. I am not upset but knew that i should have pulled this shot on sunday night.
I got caught up in editing my rugby shots and forgot, checked the socres this morning and got a rightfull pasting so far.
