Hmm... well, we had a carpenter in about 2,000 years ago to fix the Universe. Maybe it got loose again?

Okay - do these look different to anyone here ?
This version looks to me just as it does in PSE, I did not convert to sRGB prior to doing "save for web"
This version looks significantly different to me, I did convert to sRGB profile prior to "save for web"

Well, the first one (not changed to sRGB) looks like an adorable baby, but his pants seem a little too saturated. With color, I mean. :P Actually, the whole pic looks a little too saturated to me.
Whereas the second one looks like a zombie mutant dinosaur/tarantula hybrid about to devour the entire planet.
Maybe I should drink less wine while cooking. ;)

A magenta cast in the Not Changed? Flesh tones are tricky and we all want to see the world through rose coloured glasses, at some level anyway.

I'm busy digesting. Our seder was a lot of fun and delicious! And now I have a new item for my my series on Jewish holidays. :)

Okay, people, I need some advice!!
I want to do a photoshoot for the "Chains" challenge and what I imagine the final result to be is something that should appeal to the voters. I want to know if I should go through the trouble. My would-be-model is really pressed for time this week, and getting things organized will probably take a lot out of me for a day.
I'm really excited about the concept and I really want to do it. It's just bad timing I guess. I had a lovely abstract image I wanted to enter in the free study, but instead I choose something where.. the subject was a bit boring maybe but I thought the processing was really going to appeal to voters. And unfortunately my score starts with the number 3. I feel like I.. well this might be overstating it, but I feel almost like I betrayed myself. It's kinda yucky.
So I'm wondering if I should even take the risk. I'd probably be happy entering another quick self-portrait or something that would be way easier. I'm leaning towards giving it a try and doing the photoshoot but I still want some words of advice from you wonderful people. :-) |

Go for it, Kelly. Ignore the score - do it for yourself.

| Do the shoot and see if you like it. See if you can make it what you wanted it to be - what you saw in your head. As to whether to enter it or not, that's up to you. If you don't, you can always share it with us and get feedback. If you do, you'll get feedback from us after the challenge, too, so either way you win! |
