I have posted this tip in my blog //www.pixelraves.com as well.

Gary Fong̢۪s Lightsphere is a great flash diffuser to create soft and even flash lighting. The only problem I found out is this diffuser too bulky and quite inconvenient to carry around. However, I have overcame this problem with a little bit of DIY.

Prepare the following items:

1 Velcro Cable Organizer

1 Hook

Tie the velcro around the Lightsphere and hook it onto your bag â€Â¦ tadaâ€Â¦. you are done !

Here is the end result

Hope you find it useful.

Good tip, thanks. I can see this being used for many other things too. I have lots of those little keyring clips, and heaps of velcro straps like this, and I use them for everything.

When I carry the lightsphere, I usually put it under a stack of lens hoods or under a small lens, all stacked. The REAL hard one to carry is the WhaleTail because of its odd shape. I might try hanging it on the side of the bag. He really should make us a collapsible version.

Nice tip never thought about that. I usually have one of those little slr bags that you can put on your hip or hang around your neck. It fits perfectly in those bags......

this type of little bag I usually through it in, and since its so light it barely notice it on my hip or belt.
