Is there a site for camera reviews?
Sort of like what Metacritic is to movies and games? |

FWIW, user reviews of cameras, particularly SLR cameras, are really not all that useful. What you really want is a combination of accurate, detailed technical reviews prepared in like fashion for easy comparison (like DPReview does) and user experiential opinion, which can be obtained at many forums, including DPC. The third leg of the stool is getting out and physically getting the cameras in your hands, to see which seem to best meet your particular needs. |

| As kirbic said, an aggregrate review system is useless for expensive, specialised and complex products like cameras. You want a combination of professional in depth reviews, and second hand experience from other enthusiasts, and lastly a bit of time to play with the camera yourself. |
