Sorry if this sounds like a rant but I find it so annoying the way I get all my good ideas for the members challenges and am completely stumped as to what to do for the general challenges. Is this a common problem? Is this some kind of hint that I should become a member? :)

Hmmmm. This might sound dumb but do you pay in dollars? Maybe I should read the help thingy. *sigh*I'm so silly.

Cool cool. I might, you know, except I'm worried I won't have enough time to keep up with it and make it worthwhile or I might get dis-heartened if I get even worse than I am now etc etc blah blah blah!

Give it a try for a year, it really is a small cost and the benefits are huge in comparison. You don't need to submit to every challenge, just relax & have fun!

I think you can sign up for a one-month "trial" for $5 US. It's not very economical, but makes it pretty cheap to try. If you do it right away, you might be able to submit to the March Free Study challenge if you want; otherwise you'll for sure get to try 4-5 challenges and the portfolio and printing features.

It's well worth the small amount of money you invest to join. You get twice the number a challenges. As I start getting into each challenge, I find it fun to read up on different techniques and applying that to the picture of the week. Now I know a little bit about a lot of different aspects of photography.
Pretty soon you will have a whole bag of tricks that will help you out in other situations. It's a fun and easy way to learn more about taking good pictures.

As you'll be paying in good old Scottish pounds, it only costs about £14... Definately a good way to spend your hard earned!!!

I haven't regretted it once and we won't tell anyone else that we have some really good scenery here for lots of good photographs!

See you soon as a member :-)

Yeah just paid my membership the other day - $25 doesn't work out at much in the end and there's more challenges to try for. I'm hoping that way I can try and pick and choose what I enter rather than enetering all the open challenges for the sake of it and getting slated!!;)

Too late. I've already discovered the wonderful scenery of Scotland and plan on returning.
