I decided not to submit the dockside photo, for I would most likely get yelled at when having the shadow not as the main subject... oh well. Sometimes I feel that the people here are too critical about keeping the theme... (just click on the THUNDERBIRD link on the left <- )

Here are some shots I shot this week:
Tuesday night (11.06)
Soccermatch (14.06)

Arni, you are one of the most impressive photographers I have seen on this site. I really appreciate the work you put into all of your stuff. Just wanted to let you know!

I am skipping "City Life"... This will be the first challenge I have skipped since I started participating here... I have a few personal photo projects that I want to work on this week :)

I, too, am thinking of skipping 'City Life'. Living in Detroit gives way to all kinds of creative shots, but frankly urban areas do nothing for me. I prefer my shots to be clean and simple and the city isn't either one of those things.

Michigan's U.P. - Now that's clean and simple! Oh well, just four or five more years. . .

well, with everyone skipping city life, it should be a quick challenge to vote on! :)

actually, my first inclination was "i'm skipping this one", too, but my mind just refuses to stop thinking about it regardless. i have to take a certain shot for my photo class that i'm taking that could fit very well into the challenge, so maybe i'll kill two birds with one stone...

I'm really excited about this challenge. For about the last two months I've been doing a lot of city shots, so I have some ideas and even some existing shots I might try to duplicate. I'll be taking lots of pictures this week, whether I get anything worthwhile remains to be seen.

City Life might actually be the first challange I will play in for some time. I have been extremely busy at work and with finals in school (getting a degree late in life really bites) and kids, etc. I have had absolutely o time - barely been bale to get in and vote & comment. Glad to once again be able to devote some time to more enjoyable activities.

I skipped the last 2 challenges, I have been way too busy recording with my band and this past week it was cloudy almost every day. Overcast makes for poor shadows. I dont have the time to stage a shot either.

I think I may try to take something for this challenge, we will see.

That will be a first. For the last 3 weeks various things seem to have conspired to prevent my submitting. The 'On the Road' challeng it rained that entire week or rather when ever I had a chance to take pictures. The most recent 'Shadows' picture is on the laptop that doesnt seem to want to boot right now. The 'People' challenge, I well, just forgot sunday was sunday because I didnt have to go into work the next day. Alas that picture is on the laptop as well, a blond kid in an orange shirt holding a big fish.

DPchallenge-itis. the cure is to take more pictures.

i have to take a certain shot for my photo class that i'm taking that could fit very well into the challenge, so maybe i'll kill two birds with one stone...

I had planned to skip this one, too, since I had no decent ideas. I got a good idea late in the week, and so far it's doing pretty well.

Even if you don't have any ideas, keep your mind and eyes open, and something might come to you.
