Hi
I haave checked out some past post on calibration , but most i found most of the links given very confusing.

so please give me some simple links to calibrate using adobe gamma
I have already been through this tutorial ( normankoren) and found it very confusing as i felt that the author has included too many links, too much for me too handle.

Also i am not aware of phosphor of my monitor.

If you have Photoshop, you should have "Adobe Gamma" in your control panel for monitor calibration.

This is a very good and simple calibration page and the site itself is very good - lots of stuff to learn in simple words.

Ack! It looks like that page recommends/has charts for a gamma of 2.5! The "industry standard" Gamma is 2.2 for Windows-based machines and 1.8 for Macs...

EddyG, just look around - here are the same chart for gammas 1..3!

This is one of the better calibration pages I've seen, however they really do need to emphasize that 2.2 should be the target gamma value. I found the right chart immediately, however if someone does not know that 2.2 is the accepted standard, then they will miscalibrate to 2.5
