the preliminary rounds of Womens beach volleyball starts shortly. just thought the guys might want to know. thats all

I saw on the net today that Kobe B. got a big cheer from the Chinese. I just watched the US march into the staidum and noticed cheers but nothing outright obvious the would be directed towards Kobe

Anyone else noticed that they played a "Visa" commercial right before a "Nissan Maxima" commercial? The announcer of the "Visa" commercial was Morgan Freeman.
A couple a days ago Morgan was in a car accident in which he was driving a Nissan Maxima. Weird coincidence. |

and NOPE... cant find anything saggy about her. She is fantastic.. She swims in about 10 minutes!! |

I would have loved to be there just so I could watch the thing in peace. Man those NBC announcers just wouldn't shut up!

I also mentally took 'square crop' images (As you know I love the square crop) of the opening ceremony, especially the drummers, the domino blocks and the costumes. I also just adore the 'bird nest' stadium and the fireworks.
We just won our first gold in the pool and it was also a world record.

the costumes were great!
but i would imagine shooting only at ISO1600 or higher most of the time! the lighting is so low

Why do I love the Olympics in Beijing? Cuxz I am a night shift worker and off this week and get to watch them all night long...if I want.
Always loved Gymnastics (participated and then they were "my sisters" when I switched to Wrestling (both sports got no respect at our school...even though we KICKED ASS))
and women's Beach Volleyball. But I am a guy. I hate those uniforms the swimmers wear this year. BLECH!! :)

That was a phenomenal finish in that relay!! Not to mention Hoff getting beat by 7/10's of a second, just before that. Great finishers!
