Hey snaffles and ralph, hows you two doing today?
smjbmw and I really enjoyed the last gtg. I have another work friend who JUST recently joined dpchallenge. He is interested in coming too, I just dont know if the 11th will work for everyone, what with being the thanksgiving weekend. I'm free, but lets poll shall we?

I'd like to come as well. last time was great. Thanksgiving weekend is out for me, however, due to family commitments. I should be OK for any other weekend in Oct.

Don't wait too long peeps, the leaves are already changing colour here and it seems a bit faster than usual. By late Oct there won't be many leaves left on trees. Or does it all happen later in the Ottawa region? You are a wee bit more south than I am, something like 4 feet I think. ;\

That's weird, cause here in Kemptville area trees are still mostly green. Maybe cause I'm roughly 45 km south of Ottawa, we're always about 2-4 degrees warmer than Ottawa.

We could always relocate it out here, some of you could carpool to save on gas :-) And my property has tons of sugar maples on it (well OK only 9 but they're big suckers) and they have barely begun to drop their leaves.

Saturday 11th out for me as I have a seminar to attend from 10-2. Any other weekend works.

Leenie, of course your new dpc buddy welcome to join us!

I just got back from my 10km bike ride and collected a bag full of red, yellow and brownish leaves for some stock photos I want to shoot later on today. Trees are mostly green here too but some are almost void of leaves, I find that weird, or I just never noticed previously that they lost their leaves early.

How about the 18th?
