This reminds me of something that the son-in-law related to us recently.
He works in Home Depot and had a very pleasant older customer in, buying several generators and wanting 50 propane tanks. Mike was required to call the police, because that number of tanks can indicate a meth lab.
The police spent about an hour talking to the man, who was very pleasant and understanding throughout. Turns out he was a university professor from Washington who was convinced the world would end when the Hadron Collider was powered up, and was setting up his survival site here on the island.
Hmmm... now I wonder if he looked like Art??? |
