I was just browsing the site this morning and noticed something kinda cool.

Looking at my Top 4 highest rated photos that they have a similar subject (ie, round subject) or the lighting/background colors are near the same.

I looked at a few others profiles this morning and noticed some similarities in others profiles for their top 4 highest rated photos.

Have a look at your top 4 photos on your profile page, then check out some of the other photogs profiles here and you will see what Im talking about...

Two were macro insect shots! Not bad for my little Optio S.
The main trend is that as I achieve each successive personal best, I get lower ribbons, and then none at all. I guess this means the competition gets tougher each time.

I can't see any similarities:

I am not sure i see much similarity in subject matter, or point of view..... perhaps somewhat in style
04/20/2004 11:29:20 AM · #13
actually, now that they are so close, i think one similarity is how they are looked at. All my images have a focal point on the left, then the eye goes to the right...

Hmm. I sense a theme here. ;P

,,,

Any similarity is coincidental.

Kind of fun to show 'em off again though.

Three animals and one not. I guess that means I need to stop shooting animals.
