This isn't an attempt to start another wildfire/getting-to-know-you thread. I'm truly curious to know what people are using -- and just how ubiquitous PhotoShop really is. I think this should even be a yearly poll (you there, Langdon?).
Some of us probably have multiple and/or specialized tools, so name your primary tool first.
Product and version number, please.

Just moved to Adobe CS4, not sure If I like it more than CS3, I was kind of comfortable with CS3, yet I didn't spend time to see whats new yet in CS4 beside the indistinctive editing.
Cheers, |

Canon's in-kit Digital Photo Professional for raw to JPEG conversion, and then
Gimp
Its free, and its spectacular (if you know its limitations)

Paint Shop Pro XI is my primary app. I do have version XII, but it is crash prone on my present computer.
Added: Canon DPP for RAW conversion and the free version of Photomatix for HDR's.

Photoshop CS3. Actually the whole CS3 Master Collection but Photoshop is all I've really used. |

Depending on what I shoot either LR2 or CS3 or sometimes a combination of the two.

Oh good good, I just thought I was the only one using the *cough* free *cough* software. I like it for the RAW editing because I like to copy and paste my recipes instead of doing a batch process. Maybe I just don;t know how to use Adobe Camera RAW.
