Hi everyone,
I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Diana and I am from North Myrtle Beach, SC. I bought a canon 450D in January. I had no idea how much I would enjoy taking photos as I never enjoyed it with a point and shoot. I have since purchased the 100mm 2.8 macro lens and now love it even more! Anyway, I am really amazed at the quality of photos I see on this site and hope to learn from them...even if I go crazy in the process.

Welcome, jump right on, you'll learn loads here. Oh and watch out for all the mad ones, they're likely to post straight after me, you'll notice straight away that they're not quite right ;) |

oh, and also, make sure that after eating you wait 3 hours, get a complete physical and a ear candling before using the staff pool. |

HI Diana ! I too am from North Myrtle Beach and have just re-found this site. I signed up back in 2006 and have just recently become a member. There are definitely alot of ecellent, interestingly amazing pictures here. Enjoy your new canon! |

Well, I did max out on the latest random shirt offering.. I've got something like 30 of those things, I really have been trying not to buy lately unless I REALLY LOVE the shirt.. |

First off, Welcome. Definately do what Tammster said and post some pics to your portfolio but be sure not to post anything that you enter in a challenge or are planning on entering into a challenge until the challenge voting period is over.

Dont be afraid to enter a challenge. It took me 2 years since joining to start taking part and Im sorry I did not do so earlier. Theres nothing to be scared of (except some suspect names I see who have already welcomed you) Follow this recipie if you whish

expect the worst,
hope for the best.
learn from mistakes
Take pictures for the JOY OF IT (have fun)

| welcome! as a member, you will hear voices in your mind, one voice adds up every year. so for veterans in this site, go figure.. the voices will talk to you so listen to them. don't listen. i've been here for four months so the voice is one thirds full. it is still manageable. sometimes |
