I just submitted my picture for the choice challenge.

Have you ever had the feeling that your picture will not be popular, have the feeling that you will score low, have a feeling that you shouldn't submit a picture and submit it anyway.

That's how I feel now. Oh well, I still like it :)

I sometimes get those, and usually they ae right. If looking at the photo makes me uncomfortable, it usually has the same effect on others.

just my experience

I like my photo - I think it's clever - I enjoyed creating it...

Sure hope it doesn't bomb!
(Good luck everyone!)

I usally get my bad vibes after the voting gets to 75-100 votes - especially this week with both challenges. I need to add the scores together to be respectable.

The choices challenge has been tough. I have tried shooting three different ideas and haven't been happy with the results of any of them. I currently submitted what I think is the best, but even still I don't really like it. I don't know if I am going to leave it in or not. I think I might just to see how it does. Maybe I can come up with something else between now and the deadline! I'm suffering from photogropher's block though. This challenge has been a great learning experience at least.

this challange is a tough one to capture in a photo. since we all come from differnet background and have different lfe style the choices we face sometimes are internal more than external. i probly took 30-40 photo's of things that i have to choose between every day yet to have a feeling that photogenically they are appealing was tough. but i did submit a phot and i not so much concerned about how it does but how people relate to the choices that i tried to express--change that how the photo score will matter who am i kidding

Think images should not depend on a title. Good title can add to a good images but they should also be able to stand for there own without title. Find it anoying when people are trying to squeeze images into challenges by the title and I dont think it works in most cases.

But about the Choice challenge I´ve havent submited anything jet. Took a few shots last night and puted a lot of effort and thinking into it so I´m hoping for a good score now. Havent got the time to load it into my computer jet or process it in any way but I realy hope that what I was trying to do gives me some succes.

My submission is a very simple, very plain one, and it's not an earth-shattering or life/death type of choice, but it does exemplify a choice one can make. I worked very hard on it, and I took about 75 pictures searching for "the one." I am proud of it, and I will be happy with it no matter what. I just hope beyond hope that it isn't my fourth "4" in a row...what a roll! ;o)

edit: Brain freeze in the number department!

I didn't find it tough to come up with images in my head that depict
"Choices".
I found it tough to bring the images to life properly through the media of a photograph. ie: Choosing a tie.....tried to do an "abstract" with all the colours and textures of my tie collection. The only positive thing from that attempt was that I discovered "I definately need new ties!"
My final submission .... well I'm pleased, it does it for me.... but I'm not expecting great things because of the choice involved in the depiction.
I like the photo and the message it is meant to evoke.
If I wanted to score high...shoulda gone with my beautiful daughter choosing something from her favourite country bakery shop.

Mandy, do you know why all your posts have [/url] at the end? Just something I noticed, haven't seen anyone else doing that, so what's up?

My bad vibes became true. Damn!

Well, I had a feeing my "Choices" entry would do alright but my score right now is around 4.7. I'll wait and see if it improves, but I won't hold my breath.

Ooh, just found this. I'd like to know why too. I've put the urls in my sig with no tags on them, just ticked the "parse URLs" box, and the first one works but the second one has that strange url thing. I don't think I'm doing anything different to usual. I'd like to fix it though, if anyone can suggest something?

Well to get on topic again.

Just submitted my final version for the selective desaturation contest.
The first time I am entering a contest...
I am sure I will get burned off, but I dont care.
I'm here to learn, and if I score higher then a 4 I'm allready happy...
