 Well..we all know why this did not score well..but I love this and decided to enter it ointo the FS. It was a magical evening with the family and this tree does not need any ground for it has no leaves...it's dead. It's in limbo and it serves presently no other purpose than a beacon for photography, the odd bird that perches on it. A sentinal of time overlooking the city. I have take numerous shots of this tree and such pleasing comps with sunsets and magical skys all blending well with the rules of photography, but this image tells the story of the old tree at this time of it's life much better. How long before it becomes timber for fire? It will certainly leave an empty spot in my venues for pondering landscapes...as empty as the sky would be without this tree in frame

Enjoyed this enough to give it a 7. I like silhouetted trees. The sky too was pastel goodness. The lack of earth to balance your sky might have hampered scoring but that's their problem.
