 Took this one late night stroll...
I've heard that children don't do well in free study... but it's worth a shot. And was such a touching moment to photograph!

The two boys setting off along the railway really conveys a sense of adventure as well as friendship and your title says it well. Free studies are tough and this would probably have done better in a specific challenge. (It sucks that the specific challenges don't coincide with our appropriate shots.)

This is lovely, I personally would have liked it more if the branches hadn't been across their path though, perhaps if you'd moved further down the tracks.

This image conveys friendship nicely. Might be nice to have more track in the foreground- it would lead the viewer to them.

Great photo! This is the sort of image that the boys will love having later in life. Great as a picture of how close they are now, and as a comparison to journeying through life "seeing what's around the bend".
