Thanks everyone for the great comments.
Kevin: The use of f/2 with focusing a little way back in to the crowd was deliberate, in order to draw the eye in to the image and round, instead of getting stuck on what would be the most prominent figures in the foreground. I believe this works better when the image is larger than 800 pixels however, or if you take a step back from your monitor. Whether this is better than having the foreground in focus though I guess we can't know, since I only shot it like this. Thanks for the constructive feedback. |

Just as a purely monochrome abstract, its really good, and its transformed from a snapshot into something special by the black and white. |

Like the idea and the B&W, but I don't understand the soft focus on the foreground, was that on purpose? |
