My brother and wife Storme, they were my first experiment in dabbling with a wedding, I have to say it was a lot of fun.
I had a load to chose from, but I love the feel to this, the look on my brothers face, and Storme's casualness.
This was taken on Kings St in Perth, it's popular b/c it has all the expensive shops located here, kind of like Rodeo Drive.

Well when I went to bed on the first day this was at 5.73, when I woke up I was shocked to see it on 5.17.
I knew someone would comment on the fact that Storme was looking away, I would never mark anyone down for that reason, ( and I'm not saying the voter did) but I don't think you need to keep all the photography rules to have a good image, I loved the casual feel to this photo, instead of the other posed shots I took on the day. My whole family loved this image as well.

I appreciate SaraR's comment. I want to assure you they are very happy indeed. Storme looking away is no indication to how she felt on this day. Remember this is literally a candid, they just got out of the Limo, and grasped hands as I was shooting, she hadn't even fully grabbed his hand by then.

IMO, more sharpness and a straighter photo would've been better. |

Nicely done but it's a pity that she is looking distracted by something on her right. Sort off diminishes the glow a bit. |

Beautiful shot! Such a happy moment for them. He looks like he's walking on cloud 9. |

Interesting tensions - the brides almost determined aversion of her face to the groom, her hand determinedly not grasping his. |

I like the tones here giving a slight vintage feel. The composition is good. Slight twist is not bad and probably could be twisted more. I think the action in the shot was missed, with one looking away and one looking directly in camera. There is some definite artifacting on the grooms suit... in the vest and in the pants. It just doesn't look natural. It is digitized looking. It may be noise in the shadows brought out from sharpening or something like that. |
