Lately I'm feeling down and that's what I tried to capture in my selfportrait.
To be honest I was doubting if I should submit this photo at all, because it is a very personal photo. I decided to submit it anyhow, because I think the purpose of a portrait is to show personal feelings and evoke emotions to the viewers.
Anyhow, thanks for the great comments. I feel much better now!

| This is GREAT work. It has a very Biblical style to it. This is an unusual angle for a portrait and it works so well here. Nice style, nice to see this in the challenge. 10 - Gotcha |

| I really like the lighting on this, with the cast shadows of hair on skin. I like that the hair disappears into the background, and I like the very comtemplative expression. |
