Greetings from the Critique Club!

For some reason this shot makes me think of War of the Worlds, with the Martians marching across Earth, devastating everything in their path. I like how you used the hydro towers as your focal point, and the big looming sky adds to the slightly ominous feel, and is that a rent in the clouds I see near the top? The scrubby hills already look like the death rays have been at work :-)

The main problem is the lack of a strong wow factor. Technically it's an OK shot, very straightforward, but just not compelling enough to make the viewer come back and look some more. A hit of saturation might have helped a little.

Still, good use of unusual elements that we don't normally see in landscapes. Keep on shooting and entering!

I like using the powerlines as a grounding (ha!) force in your photo rather than trying to hide them as happens often with landscapes.

Technically there is not much wrong with this picture IMHO, but it isn't interesting or exciting
