I've been trying to figure out how you did this, and I can't! It's one of my favorites this week... a very unusual, out of the norm take on 'prortrait'. Your image really has that quality that makes people stop and wonder. Nice job...

I have been back 4 times to look at this image/art :) It's real interesting! Seems like I see 2 people. A person on the bottom and a face in the center? Great job! |

I think that a portrait should show some detail and something of the person's personality. This is a very abstract shot and abstract photography is my favorite but I don't think that it really fits here. All I can really see is one closed eye and a mustache. |

This is much too abstract for me. I do like some "art" shots, but this one is a little over the edge for me. I can make out a man's face, but the whole photo leaves me with more questions than answers. |

Dying to know how you pulled this off..., but anyway, one of my favs for this challenge. At first I wasn't sure what to make of it, but I kept coming back to it and it kept growing on me ... one of the few original and interesting shots. |

This is one of those artistic types of shots that is probably wonderful, but is way over my head. I can't score it high (since I don't like it) but I won't score it low either, since I can see it to be artistic. |

What is this, Fire? Looks a little over processed to me. Still an interesting shot. Jacko. |

I'm sorry. I really don't like this photo. There is no portrait in here to me... even as symbolic it may be. |

I can make out the eye and the cheek but I don't know what the rest of it is. It will be interesting to see what you did. |

You probably worked real hard to get this but it doesn't do anything for me. Sorry. |

I'm not sure what effect I'm looking at here, but it's simply too abstract for me. There is a bit of a face in the middle, but not enough to see an expression or get a sense of meaning from the face. I don't see how the face connects with the surrounding streaks of black and white or what purpose the effect serves. I personally don't mind a distorted effect on a face, but I'd like to still be able to find some meaning or expression on that face, and see how or why it is distorted by some effect. 3 |
