Beautiful shot and congrats on the HM Frank!
He he, I came oh so close to shooting this same mountain myself. And if I had, I thought Lake Serene next to it might have been a good setting for the challenge too- but hard to imagine it could have topped what you managed here. |

Love the water, the mountains the sky - not as much the brush in the foreground but it's still a beautiful scene and very nicely processed imo. One of my top 10. |

I really like this and think it is lovely; that being said, I do believe it suffers from being a little too soft. I did vote fairly high on this. (voted earlier) |

This is magnificent. You have all the elements of a fantastic landscape scene. I'm impressed with the silk water effect in such a daylight situation. The control of exposure is wonderful. The stillness of the foreground vegetation is no easy task accomplished. The deep DOF really gives a three dimensional effect. I think the portrait orientation works for this scene. Great sky and clouds. I expect this will be a ribbon contender. 10 |
