My point was not to make the entire image feel abandoned, but to show the contrasts of inner cities. You may have a totally abandoned building next to a shiny new skyrise. The challenge was not to make an image feel abandoned, it was just a point of origin for a mind to take-off from. Open your mind!

The high-contrast B&W takes away some of the "new & shiny" look from the upper portion and hurts the concept a bit, but otherwise it's a great concept.
