I really would have liked to see the portait of someone with a little bit larger head. Possibly with a plunger protruding from the side of his face in an asymmetric fashion. I mean sitting here over a cognac all i can feel is what is that child thinking? Why is he hiding in the dark behind a basketball? And who is Wilson? Its marvelous, i havent felt this much emotion from a photograph since my early years covering 'nam.

Would like to have seen the hand on right and the face a bit more in focue.

A better portrait of a basketball than the person. There are too many areas that are either flat white or flat black, losing too much detail on the face & arms.
A good idea though and the ball does look good.

Not a bad idea. Creative thinking, great title. I think your focus and light could of been improved. Good work, good luck.

Looks more like an advertisement than a portrait. The ball plays too big a part here. I would like it better if you could subdue the ball somehow.

The lighting seems too harsh here. A tighter crop might be a good idea as well. 4
