About 20 meters above my head and me looking out of bird hide peep-hole. Workshop, KNP, via Phabeni, Lake Panic Bird Hide. Completely Manual Focus, Manual Exposure 500mm lens. No Auto Anything.

The bird has caught a wasp and is now tossing it up in the air to swallow it.

It's a brave bird that favors bees for it's sustenance. Very cool looking bird as well.

Cool capture. That's a very colourful bird (unknown to me). I like that there is a bright catch light in his eye. It looks like he has speared the wasp, but I suppose it is just the position and the moment.
