A macro, using a variation of light painting. Subject is a silicon wafer of some sort of chips.

This was super fun to shoot, and a super-nightmare to process. More cloning and clean up than I've ever done to an image, as even the smallest little flaws showed up badly...

I REALLY LOVE THIS AND GAVE IT MY HIGHEST SCORE AND WAS SURE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN PLACED G[=HIGHER... I VOTE WITH MY HEART AND NOT MY HEAD THAT THE WAY I ALWAYS VOTED AND COMMENTED AND I NOT GOING TO CHANGE... LOVE IT AFDDING IT TO MY FAVS XOX

Yeah. I knew what it was alright. Didn't vote, but figured it out when browsing through.
Maybe it's 'cause I knew what it was but it might have gotten a 6 from me. No more 'cause it wasn't abstract to get a good abstract vote, and wasn't interesting enough to get the interest vote :-)
