 Into the wild. Lens focal length 47mm. 0.6 & 0.9 soft grad ND filters.

The right question is "why" did I take this photo. To my eye, the light was unique and the stormy dark sky offered a rare background contrast to the partially sunlit forest canyon. The magic of TRR is the ability to see 15 miles of landscape from a high perspective. Forest Canyon is a wilderness place of wonder and mystery. — at Gore Range Overlook.

There is one comment advocating for a stronger contrast. I disagree, as a stronger contrast than this would have blocked up shadows and blown out highlights. The image is as I saw it with my eyes.

Post rollover:
Wow! Easily the biggest jump in score at rollover I've ever seen for one of my images. I think that means quite a few votes were scrubbed, which were very low votes.

Despite some dust cloning, crop, slight sat increase my entry this FS was also untouched. Judging by some responses to it and previous FS work submitted I have come to learn that if it isn't made 'unreal', change bland grey water to fusion dayglo blue water (the way water should be right?), that is nothing like it was to my naked eye at time of shot, it won't fare better scorewise...pfffffft. Enough voters this time appreciated it.
