 A quiet Sunday morning. I liked the fisherman in the background and chose this photo based on that criteria.

In hindsight, I should have processed this much better to separate the cairn from the background and to provide a bit more direction for the viewers eyes, but I was lazy and basically just shot and posted.

Who can know why the voters dismiss some photos and not others. I love this one, and I'm with you: the fisherman should stay! I think a human element always adds interest to landscape photos. This is beautiful! And what a blessed Sunday morning that must have been!

reminds me of Stonehenge in a way .... I love the muted blue in the b/g and the lone fisherman with the yellow shirt!
