Great sky, but the foreground is too dark for me. |

Too much foreground - but like the sky. |

the houses and the power lines distract me. |

great sky, but too much distraction in the bottom half of the picture. |

cool redish thunder cloud |

The wires are distracting. You have to much going on in this photo. Was it a storm moving in? Looks bad if it was. |

wow that is some storm brewing! Since the sky is actually your subject, it might have been better to frame it higher to get the street out of the foreground. It is very dark and it detracts from the sky. A horizontal shot might have been better in this case, to see more of the clouds AND the blue sky. |

that is very ominous! the focus seems a bit soft on the ground. |

Nice contrast of darkness and lightness. Filling more of the frame with the dark cloud gives it a feeling that it's taking over... and transitioning to darkness. Was there a fire? Or is that just a cloud? |

i think done horizontally with less road, more sky, would work better |

a twista, a twista...there's no place like home, this is like a sandstorm from the Gobe desert |

That almost looks like a huge tornado... nice shot! |

good idea, little too dark. |

cool transition, however, the bottom of the picture is too dark i feel and detracts from the changing sky. |

Good title, good sky but horrid background capturing |

good shot.. I would crop the bottom a bit, but that's just me. |

Wow are you sure you shouldn't be running or something? Powerlines on the left mess up the picture. Too much road in the picture. Might have been nice if you used the 3/4 of the way down and to the left from the top right corner. |

I tried a number of different shot attempting to capture an image like this. Very diffcult to pull off. The telephone pole is kind of distracting, and the forground is a bit too dark. |

Looks like a scene from Independence Day, what with the sky on fire and all. The shot is fairly grainy, or I would have rated this one pretty high |

Sky is really hard to photograph and make interesting. It always looks much more impressive at the time |

a little too typical for my eyes |

Great colours, and the half blue / half cloud sky works well, but I'd crop out more of the street myself |

good original idea - too much bare foreground |

Maybe an angle without the power lines wold have been better? I like the sky but the foreground ruins it. |
