Once I went through the nursery rhymes list it came down to just two: Would You Like To Swing on a Star? or Star light, Star bright.

I thought about how one would 'swing' on a star and the visual in my head was just not coming together all too well.

With Star Light, Star Bright the inspiration came much quicker and easier. I remembered a B&W children's book my youngest had checked out from the library years ago. It had a sleepy child in bed. The blanket was covered with tilled fields, a farmer, a road with horses and riders...and the child was watching the scene play out right there on the bed.

Taking that as inspiration, I knew I wanted to do something similar. I wanted to have a girl sitting in bed holding a teddy bear. She would be looking down at her blanket that would show the night sky in a forest. The moon would be rising and one star would shine brighter than all the rest. The scene would represent imagination coming to life at bedtime.

As usual, it takes a lot of photos and a way too much time to create these Expert Editing images.
