 Trying my hand yet again at portraiture. I really want to get good at this. Especially because I want to start photographing other people besides myself and family. I took a betterphoto.com course on taking portraits with available light. This is one of my assignments. Took it with side window lighting and used a white board to bounce some light on the other side of her face. This is my daughter. She is wearing my 23 year old wedding dress that I took out of the box for the first time since it was put in storage. I cropped it down to focus on her face more. Converted it to black/white to see how it would be received. I asked her to not to smile since young brides 100 years ago never smiled.
