 Cathedral Lake and Peak sunset. YNP.

3 exposure HDR using Photomatix. Some localized levels adjustments - it was a stunning sunset as the light danced across the trees and peak. This was captured right as the last touch of light was moving off the peak.

I think I've worn this one out for 2012... :) Although it would be great to hike/snowshow back in as soon as the pass opens up. Seems like it could be an awesome winter scene.

Man, so upset I couldn't get a permit for Cathedral when I visited in the summer! Awesome shot without the need for super high-contrast processing.

One of the things I love most about voting on FS (which I did earlier, I'm back to comment on a few now) is the opportunity to visit such beautiful far-flung location thanks to my DPC family and you've managed to take my breathe away with an absolutely stunning image of an absolutely beautiful location.
