I really like this entry, I'm glad it is doing well. It was one of the hardest self portraits I have ever done.
First preparation: duct tape a white sheet all around the tub for a background. Then block the clean out drain so I could fill it to the tip top. Position camera just right so that it was nearly level with the water, so that you could see the reflection.

Now get in the water. Hold breath for as long as I can so that the water can get still and my daughter can push the shutter button. Sit up spilling water all over the floor and have her turn the camera around so that I can see the preview and try to make adjustments.

All in all I was happy with the results. I do wish like some mentioned I could have gotten a reflection that was more symmetrical. My daughter does push the shutter button but does not give me direction, so I have no way of knowing when the pose is right or if I needed to tilt my head more. After about 30 tries I decided it just would have to work.

Actually I sort of like that it isn't a perfect reflection. The title sums up how I feel about the reflection. It is really how my dreams feel. Like reality but not quite. Everything is just a bit distorted and disquieting.

Love this...I really do, particularly the off-centre symmetry even if it wasn't intentional. Sometimes the best shots are by accident. I was going to comment on your beautiful model too then realised it was you. There's one to make your head swell haha!

Without the clothes the rest of your body would have reflected also and added to the wow factor, gave you an 8 as it is; a very cool picture

This is really cool. Nice idea and execution. I feel though that something just didn't quite click to take this from a cool shot to a spectacular one. I can't quite put my finger on it. Some ideas: perhaps stronger reflection (less movement in the water?), eyes open with some emotion, tighter crop, it could be any number of things. :)

So far, my fave of the challeng, although I wish she were slightly more submerged to create a perfect opposite reflection. Nicely done, nonetheless.
