I would like to see this in color. Also the crop seems a little tight to me. Nice picture overall. |

I presume this is going to become a print? excellent shot and am trying to work out what the model is thinking. My only thought would to have been to choose a better title, they don't really bother me (and don't sway my vote) but hey, if you can come up with pics like this you can do better with titles ;) |

I know you are telling me with the title that this is backlit, but the hands and face are so light that it would be possible to accept that all the light was coming from the front of the image. Never-the-less, I think it is a really fine image with great contrasts, detal and focus. I also like the cultural aspects presented. Congratulations. |

A very good take where the backlight, not being strong enough to accent the outline, frames the subject with the lit parasol in a most delicate manner, preserving the full integrity of the tones. |

I like the composition, but I would have liked to see the color version. The b&w gives it a dull feel, in my opinion. |

Captured expression nicely. Well composed. It seems a little grainy, but not too bad. I like it. |

She's beautiful, and it's a neat shot, but you can't really tell it's backlit - there's too much "fore"light(?) which flattens the image. |

Very nice would have loved to seen it color as I think it would have brought out the backlighting better. |
