Sadly I was working over Halloween and so got no use out of my camera. I did however manage to snap some Guy Fawkes celebrations (UK) and thought this image was fairly spooky so let's see how it does :).

This was a fun evening of shooting, despite all the ash in the air meaning I had to wipe off my camera every few seconds. Guy Fawkes is always my favourite celebration where I live with >1000 people processions in costumes with torches and drums every weekend for over a month (going through a different village each evening), complete with bonfire and fireworks each time.

Minimal editing; exposure, contrast, sharpening.

Voted earlier coming back to comment.

The colors and the fiery action in the backdrop behind the gents grabs my attention. Guy Fawkes Day perhaps? It is an interesting shot with two gents dressed in period costume. I wonder what exactly is on the sign that the gent is holding and is he going to place it on the bonfire. I just wish that you captured both men in a stance were we could see faces and expressions better.
