 Self portrait plus separate image of 'cauldron' (really only a small pot)which I simmered on the stove with black fabric behind. The rat was a lucky find only yesterday - it's amazing what turns up in wrecked cars! (My son has a wrecking business.)
I painted myself green on a separate layer and blended in multiply mode. Oh, and I really have all my teeth, so blacked a couple out and then worked on my nose with liquefy.Left hand and rat are from a different photo than the rest of me.

Rats! I had to leave my placeholder in place. I intended to do some more to this. There was another mummified rodent for the other hand and I was going to gnarl my hands up a bit and make my fingernails clawy and and and... Photoshop had other ideas and crashed and wasted some of my efforts and then I just ran out of time.

Great expression and toning, esp on that greenish skin. A little too much light on the rat for subtlety :) Top five for me. Voted earlier.

Ew for the petrified rat. Nice shade of green skin, though, and the making the steam from the cauldron change color is quite supernatural looking.

I like this, but the hands and face have areas of extra smooth. Personally, I would have gone the opposite direction. Nicely done overall.
