This one had a bunch of edits, and is an example of a portrait using single frame HDR technique. I pulled the original RAW file up, then proceeded to create three versions with three different exposures. One desatted some purple highlights I didn't like. One I dropped the exposure on dramatically specifically to use as a mask on the male models shirt collar which was super bright in the standard exposure. Finally, on the standard exposure I used the clarity brush in RAW in to clean up the facial features. Once these were merged together I ran topaz denoise, did a color desat mask for the red tones in the male models face, proceeded to do a sharpen, which I applied only to the hair, button, and the irisis of the eye. I then cloned out a few stray hairs on the females forehead and one blemish on the males face. I then created a second layer and contrast/dark adjusted once more time. I did a touch of dodge and burn in the shadows between them and behind the models neck. I then took that mask and altered it's opacity until I was happy with the dark/light balance in the background. . .though the shirt still bothers the poo out of me, as I don't feel any edit I could run in advanced would really fix it. Oh well. : )

I didn't vote but this was one that really caught my eye. The woman's smirk sold it for me. Great job, Mike!

Welcome to marriage, my friend :)

Great idea, and nice execution with the facial expressions.
