The 12 Apostles is a collection of magnificent rock stacks that rise up from the Southern Ocean.

The apostles are formed by erosion, they became known as the Twelve Apostles for tourism purposes, despite only ever having nine stacks.
One of which collapsed recently in 2005, remaining only eight.

Would like to see more of an up close shot of the collapsed Apostle. Which one is it? I can't tell and only a local would be able to tell me.

Nicely done, and a great headline to go with this image.

ok now I'm educated about the stacks thanks for giving me something to research. Like it when photos become learning experiences.
