 I was fortunate to have good light and blue skies on this day. My thought with the crop was to leave room at the top left for the Eagle to fly in to. Perhaps a landscape frame might have been better. Thanks for the great comments and votes. This eagle actually had a fish in it's talons but those shots didn't seem to be as dramatic as this one.

Great detail on a moving subject. I'd prefer a bit tighter crop or maybe a landscape orientation. Still a very nice capture.

Great BiF. Thanks to bright light you've used a very fast s/s and excellent contrast has allowed super crisp focus and details. The sky is blue which always adds a good appealing BG to such an image. I just don't like the square-ish crop. Would prefer more space to the left and less to the top.
