 This is my first entry in a couple years. I joined the site when I was 16 and just decided to start doing it again as a result of a series of conceptual shoots I'm doing for a personal photography project. I figured some of them might do alright here. I didn't take the shot with this challenge in mind so I hope it goes ok... I think it has a feeling of being "deep in the heart of December."

The only "expert" part of the editing is that some of the snow around her-- to create the square composition is from different shots taken the same shoot. Yes-- she really was laying on the snow.

You may or may not be aware that this is one of the photos being used in the online "publications" referenced here: DPC forum thread on LBNelert
I noticed it when I was searching for my own. There were so many from DPC that I could not document them all - if you want to have it removed, see posts from LydiaToo and Mike_311 on p. 5 of the forum thread. To locate it more easily, check both blogs and the main newsletter, starting with the dates when this challenge was in voting or shortly thereafter.

That model should have been paid a ton of money for laying in the snow like that. :>) I like it - very different concept. And WHITE SNOW!! There's a ten just for white, not blue snow - although there is a little blue around the edges - I'll discount that. Interesting image - well done.
